Raspberry leaf tea!! You can get it from a health food shop, its awful so I let it go cool & then drank it in 1.

Hey, I have been told that sex works as there is a chemical in the sperm that makes the womb contract. Stimulating the nipples is supposed to work get your other half to do it for you a you get more arosued form it then you doing it yourself. The classic hot curries lol but good luck and hope babies here before xmas :-) Sam and 13wk Noonoo xx

Hi, I too am hoping for a home birth, not due till 19 dec tho so my induction date would be new years eve! Agh! I have been drinking raspberry tea, twiddlin my nips, cleaned the house, walked round town, attempting sex, however this proved impossible! I'm just too big, positions that are possible aren't comfy at all. Any other suggestions are welcome as I too really dont wanna go over my dates! Any one know anything about castor oil, been told its not recommended by some but others say there midwifes told em to take it.

Your baby will come when it's ready, if you want to have a homebirth then stay at home and have one. I had a natural homebirth at 42+5, the obstetrician wanted to induce me at 42 weeks but I declined the induction and waited for my baby to arrive in her own time. If you ring up L&D while you are in labour and tell them you are not coming into hospital, they are legally obliged to send the midwives to you (you get two, one for you and one for the baby). My daughter's birth was a wonderful experience and I am so glad that I didn't have to suffer through another hopsital induction (my son was induced and it was an awful experience).
