hi is there anyone who is having difficulties regarding potty training my son is four in febuary and no were near potty trained he has a problem with his bowels and i worry so much that he is always going to be in nappies is there anyone in the same boat or has been here before

My son is 2 and a half and has bowel troubles aswell. I also worry about him not potty training, but just recently he has had a couple of movements on his potty, but then he will go off again.

Hiya, i don't know if this is any help to you as i don't know the exact nature of the bowel problems, but my daughter (nearly 3) has spina bifida which has affected her bowels aswell. She has a suppositry straight into the bum once a day and within 20mins she's pooed. It's really easy because you can just sit them on the toilet while they poo & you know exactly when they are going to poo. Anya will only poo once she's had the suppositry. It took a couple of weeks to get into a routine but it's well worth it. x x

my son has done well this weekend he has wore underpants but cant get him to poo on the toilet its so frustrating lol. nice to speak to someone who knows how i feel thank you
