Hi, I dont have any advice as such, I can only sympathise with you. I had to give up breastfeeding my daughter 17 years ago to a severe infection in the nipple and had to swap her over to formula milk. It was not big deal in the end as she was a healthy happy baby and toddler but I was disappointed at the time as wanted her to gain from the benefits of breastmilk. I felt 'Imade up for it' by feeding her only fresh home cooked food as a baby and toddler. This time round (baby 11 weeks) she went straight on to formula as didnt want to go through what happened previously.
Your little one is only a few days old, your still recovering from the experience of birth, your tired due to meeting the needs of your baby, these alone make you feel at your worst. Having got through the worst (the first few weeks I felt a wreck was tearful tired and stressed - it goes with the territory) I can tell you that you have to ride the storm as it does get easier, and any issues you have at the mo you do overcome. 4 weeks before my baby was born I had to use crutches as I had SPD (more than usual separation of the pelvis) I was in agony just walking and moving around in bed I was crying out in pain. After birth and still now its tough sometimes as my mobility is still restricted and im still in pain (ive been lucky some women end up in a wheelchair for years after) but im of the mindset that this is a temporary thing, and it gets better all the time but my body has been through a traumatic experience and recovery takes time. After all look what we have: healthy babies, and this more than some women can hope for. I know this prob doesnt help at the mo but take each day at a time and accept that your still in recovery, be positive and the weeks will fly be and all that you are feeling will hopefully soon be a distant memory.
I wish you the best of luck and hope that things improve for you,
Vicky x
