Hi Girls, I just thought I would share my holiday from h**l with you!! We went to Tenerife 21/11 for what was meant to be our Honeymoon & 1st family holiday for 12days. J was sick in departures on way out & had to do a bagage reclaim as we used all his spares & we both needed a change, flight fine, hotel great & then friday pm hit - he was sick & had runs really really badly, we had doc out who shrugged & said if gets worse bring him to hosp for a drip. By sun pm we were tearing our hair out as had not left the room app from going to shop. Our rep was c**p, ins wouldn't fly us home, couldn't get flight until tue 25/11 which we had to pay £600 for & land 200miles away from home! my phone bill is £350 for 5days (!) We went to our docs yest & hosp & they said winter vomit bug / virus. I just thought I would let you all know - if your having a bad day it will be made better by reading this!!!! J still not well & keeping much in but hey atleast were finally now home! On a brighter note the weather we saw out the window looked lovely hahaha! Emma & a poorly Jack x x

Hi Emma, sorry to hear your horror story, Poor Jack, is he ok now, you must have been out of your minds! We're just returned from Euro Disney with our 4 yo daughter. It was absolutely freezing. We stayed at the Davy Crockett Ranch which was great as you don't get all the kids screaming around the hotel 24/7. The swimming pool was luke warm and the showers chilly. Disneyland was good despite the cold but some of the kids rides were pitch dark. The Studios side was quite poor for small kids. There is a Crush from Nemo rollercoaster (107cm) which looked a bit scary for kids, the Small World was closed (thankfully) and there wasn't much else for little ones. Some of the characters looked like they needed a good wash and there wasn't much Christmas cheer. Didn't find the advertised Father Christmas! Not as bad as your holiday but still glad to be home. I think you should both be grateful you have actually had the chance to go away! I wouldnt care where i went long as my kids and i got a holiday! yes maybe it wasnt perfect but you should count yourself lucky sorry no sympathy for either of you
