Is it because it makes you go to the toilet? A bit like the way castor oil works. Thats what I always presumed. If you find something that works let us all know! Good luck. Nat and 37+3 wk bump x

lol tbh i dnt think anything works, but it doesnt stop u trying ur best. i had a plain vindaloo frm the indian last nyt with no meat or anything init. it was just spice and i ate it all, i thought i was gonna burst into flames. it didnt even make me go to the toilet, nothing happend apart from i was breathin fire for about 2 hours lol. crazy things us mummies do to get their babys out!!! xx

Hi, I looked this u on the supernanny website last night and that says that spicy food can cause the intestines to cramp and spasm and because the intestines are so close to the uterus now it can stimulate the uterus to spasm and contract thus kick starting labour. I had salt and pepper chicken from the chinese last night, but still no baby, mustn't have been hot enough! lol! Nat and 37+4 wk bump x

lol yeeep im still here, and me and hubby are gettin fedup of people askin if iv had it yet. especially wen people come up in the street and say to ME have u not had it yet lol. OBVIOUSLY NOT!!!!! gosh it gets frustratin cos u no ur ovadue n havent had the baby u dnt need it throwing at u everytym u walk out the front door!!! im 2 days ova now, and all the way thru the pregnancy i sed to my hubby i rly want to go into labour on the 2nd of december and have baby on the 3rd(dnt no y, its just my chosen date!!!) so il be having a vindaloo and fresh pineapple n lots of the other stuff!!!!!! gud luck girlies and thanx 4 replying xxxxx

hi, nothing works. i was eating chillies on their own and ordring extra ones in take away meals, they didnt do anything, i tried most of the myhts and beileve me nothing worked, i was ten days over due and still had troubles getting him out. good luck with it and your baby will come when ready and i know how it feels to be over due but its deffo worth it, mines over 5 weeks and started smilin. its worth the wait, good luck xx

my l.o was born at 38+5, she was redy at 38+2, having sex, and letting your partner c*m inside u helps becus sumfink in the semen does sumet. . it works cus the next day my waters broke, x so try it agen
