hi i can completely understand how frustrated u must be, as i went thru exactly the same thing recently with my daughter. she reached 2 y/o, and she started becoming afraid to poo in her nappy, i think she hated the feel of it, so i decided it was tym to potty train, she did fantastically, and was off the potty after a week and straight to the toilet. she even started taking herself every time. i then noticed she wasnt pooing at all, and she was rly grouchy, and always had tummy ache. i took her to the doctors and he gave sum laxative medicine. this still didnt work, she was even holding her poo in thru the laxatives. everytym she needed a poo shes start screaming hysterically, it was lyk she was possessd. it was the hardest thing iv had to cope with, as i too am pregnant, and was pregnant when she was going thru the phase. she would sometyms poo in her nappy on a night, but even changing her bum was a nightmare. i spent hours crying as i couldnt cope with the way she was being, she was making herself ill and i had no controll. anyway i tried lots of different things from trying more fibre and rewarding/bribing her and none of it worked. in the end i decided, after each meal, breakfast lunch and dinner, id wait about 10 minutes, and then take her up to the toilet and sit with her and play a game like eye spy or id get an animal book and tell her to point out which ever animals. if she stayed on the toilet for a few minutes id stay good girl for staying on the toilet in a calm voice. if she did a wee id say wow clever girl a little happier, and after a few days she did a poo and i made the biggest fuss, jumping about, and wen she got off the toilet id put my head down there and make a joke shoutin errr pooooooeeeey!! and shed laugh her head off. id then give her a mini box of raisins or fruit as a reward. i no it sounds barmy, but it rly did work, and after a week she was goin on her own n she'd shout me up to see the evidence!!! i think it was the crouching on the toilet for so long after her dinner that made her need to poo. i think u shud try it, but dont expect too much as it did take a few days before she even opened her bowels. gud luck and let me no how u get on luv stacey rhiannon(2) and 39 wk bumpy xx(sorri this is so long i hope it dusnt bore u lol) xx
