hi i had the exact same prob with my lil boy who has only just mastered potty training. when he turned two he use to love having his nappy off and running around naked. so when he did a wee on the floor i use to just clean it up without saying anything to him, when he did a poop on the floor i would pick it up and place it in his potty to show him where it belongs not the floor and let him help me put it down the toilet. after a few days of this he got the hang of it and started sitting on his potty but not doing anything straight away. when i was not looking once he sat on it and done a wee and a poop and brought it to me. this way i found there was no pressure on either of us, the only prob we had once summer was over was getting him to do it all with clothes on we have only just sussed that one out and he has only just had 4 accidents in 2 weeks. good luck xx

Hi i had the same, but i left it a couple of months and now she has just started using the potty and she was the one who sat on it first and wee`d, so when people say they will be ready in there own time I have learned with my second child it is true, all we done was kept the potty out so she can see it. help this helps

hi if shes scared, i think u shud give it up, as she isnt ready, even if she lyks wearing the knickers. i think u shud put her bak in nappies for a few weeks n try agen, as if u rush them wen ther not ready it can make things worse, she can develop phobias of toilets, or weeing/pooing. i hope u take my advice as i am speakin frm personal experience, not frm my daughter but from me. it is serious, if u try again in a week or so wen ur in the house put the potty in the middle of the room, and dont put anything on her bottom half, knickers tights etc, and praise her if she does a wee, even if its just a dribble, and afterwards, take her upstairs to the toilet and get her to help u poor it away and let her flush the toilet. this is wat i did with my daughter, and it worked within 2 days. i did try earlier, but lyk ur daughter she was scared, so i waited n now shes fully trained. i got rid of the potty after a few weeks and she ony uses the toilet, she takes herself and flushes the toilet then comes dwn t me n asks for sum magic soap!! hope this helps luv stacey rhiannon(2) and 38 wk bumpy xx
