I had oc diagnosed at around 30 weeks so there i was in and out of hosp 2 or 3 days a week bein monitored then when i was 36 weeks my consultand decided it was best to get baby out. So i stayed in to be induced it was a fri afternoon i had my first lot of prostin then again friday night then again sat at midnight which i thought was a joke! Then my 4th lot was given to me early hours monday morning well it didn't work so i was took down to labour ward monday at about half 2 had my waters broke at half 3 but that didn't work either so i was put on drip to get my contractions goin it was horrible cuz i was stuck on the bed and couldn't move around as i was bein monitored. Well i remember bein checked ova and was 6 cm dilated then the next thing i'm pushin but bein told not to push cuz babys heart rate was droppin but i couldn't stop eventually my baby girl was born at 2.52 tues morn at 37 weeks she had the cord wrapped around her tummy and neck and was gruntin so off they took her to scbu and it wasn't until half 5 that mornin i could hold my baby but that was only for 10 mins then i had to leave her in scbu while she was on iv antibiotics and havin oxygen. Luckily that evenin she was on the ward with me and the friday we were home.

aww sounds lyk u had a tough time hun;. its horrible when u dont have the labour u imagine. wen i gave birth to my daughter her heart rate slowed down and she pooped inside me which was dangerous and wen she was born she wasnt breathing and cord was round her neck. she was fine tho luckily, and she was with me straight away. im sorri ur experience wasnt a happy one, but lookin at ur baby wil make everything seem better. talk about wats on ur mind with any1 who will listen, it will help u come to terms with it, congrats on ur baby lv stacey rhiannon(2) and 38 wk bumpy xx
