Hi everyone, just wondered what everyone elses babies were like with talking around 10 months? My little girl first said "Mama" at 8 months and its still all she can say, which is great obviously but can't wait for her to say something else! Thanks Jac & Holly xx

My son didn't say a word till he was 18 months old... but since he started talking, he hasn't stopped, I can't get him to shut up, lol! My daughter hasn't started talking yet, obviously she makes noises and babbles and stuff but not what I would call proper talking. I'm not worried, my son couldn't talk at this age but he was speaking in sentences by the time he was 2, so I know there's no hurry for her to get started just yet. hi my daughter is 18 months old, and said her 1st word at 5 months old. She's doing really well but is in a class at nursery with children up to 2 years old so I think thats helping her. She says around 50 words. Some only I seem to understand tho!! And she says a dozen or so sentences. Every child is different so i wouldn't worry just yet. My nephew only said a few words at the age of 2, then all of a sudden just seemed to say everything!
