hi, my daughter had her first cut at about 3 months old, by her good old mum!! But her first proper cut by the hairdresser at about 7 months i think. she's now 17 months and been 3 times. try not to make too much of a fuss about it and he'll be fine

My son had his first hair cut at 13 months old. But my daughter is that age and still hasn't grown any hair yet! It's never to early for a trim if there is enough hair to be getting in the baby's eyes and bothering them, or if it's growing a bit uneven, in my family we seem to have rather bald babies though so there's no need.
