Hi. I'm 36 weeks pregnant with my second and am getting soooo fed up of waiting for her to arrive. All i can think about is baby, baby, baby!! Don't remember feeling like this first time round. i keep rearanging all her stuff just to feeel like i'm doing something. Finding it hard to sleep now too.If i wake up theres so much going through my mind i cant get back to sleep and end up getting up for a bit. last night i was up at half 4 eating chocolate and hoola hoops!!!!! Everyone keeps askig if its because im nervous about the labour but im not at all. I just want her here.Im not bored either as my nearly 3 year old keeps me more than busy. Anyone else feel like this? Anyone have any safe tips on how to make it happen sooner rather than later? Anything would be much appreciated. Thanks x

hi rachael, i know exactly how you feel! im 35 weeks with my second and have a 2 year old to run around after but im feeling very impatient too! im the same, it seems its all i can think about and just want her out! i dont know any other ways of making it happen sooner rather than later other than the usual sex, spicy food etc but i think unfortunately they wont come til they are ready so looks like we are stuck! im just trying to think that whatever happens she will be here within the next few weeks even if i have to be induced. Not long to go now just try and stay positive and you never know it might happen soon! best of luck let me know what happens. Sheena & 35 week bump

i no it mite seem personal but gettin intimate wiv ur partners ment to bring on the pregnancy closer to the time but just to be safe talk to ur midwife, i cant really say much as im only havin my first but friends and family members say it good for most people but ask and if ya can let us no lolx

I ate fresah pinapple slices and had plenty of sex before hand lol, they do say there is something in the pinapple, i think it might of been that that brought my son here earlier but ill never know its worth a try though. im 39|+ 3 and im climbing the walls! i have a 20month old to keep me busy but she was born at 37 weeks so havent been this far and she was also induced so didnt have toplay the waiting game. ive had period pain and backache for nearly 3 weeks everyone saying to me its body getting ready for labour and alsoyour cervix softening but still nothing. i cleaned my house top to bottom on saturday and had sex and on sunday i had my show! i then had a flase labour on tuesday morning-4 hours of contractions then it alls stopped! im begging my consultant for a sweep on tues if nothing as im in pain all the time and not fair on my daughter. i have also tried everything else! alot of ppl iknow r sing evening primrose oil and raspberry leaf tea/tabs and have said thats wots worked forthem!! good luck imm hoping ill have had baby by next week!

I know exactly what you mean. I havent slept wellin about 2 weeks. As with yourself I have a toddler to run around after who's 2nd birthday is coming up so I am far from bored. I spoke to my midwife cause it is really getting me down, she said that it is all hormonal. I didn't have this with my first and am really finding it hard to cope.
