hey my niece is 2 yrs old, shes showing signs of potty training, will say wee wee and nappy when she needs a wee, but as soon as u take the nappy off she starts screaming and wriggling round, she wont sit on the potty or toilet with a training seat at all as she screams the house down, sometimes she will go all day wivout goin for a wee in her nappy and keeps saying wee wee, and the only time she will go is in her sleep, if you put knickers on her she also screams! my sister is pullin her hair out tryin to work out what is best! ne ideas would be greatly appreicated!!!!

Why dont' you try letting her sit on the potty or the toilet with her nappy on showing her that it is safe/Ok to sit on it and once she gets use to the idea of sitting on it with her nappy then try and see how she reacts when you ask her to remove the nappy before she sits down. Have you tried reading to her when she sits on the potty/toilet or leaving the potty on a bedmat on the floor in the lounge while she is bottomless watching her favouritte programme and see if she takes the cue to use it when you are not there? I discovered my little one liked to use it when no-one was watching her. Let me know how you get on. Good luck!
