hi.....ive got a 5 week baby and since 2weeks old she has constantly had bad wind from her bottom,she screams because of her wind,she also always screams to go to the toilet,which always comes out green and ive tried things for colic like infacol and colic bottles. i was breeastfeeding her for 4days then went onto cow and gate.can anyone help.thanks kylie n ella

she maybe constipated. If you get in contact with H/V then I think they can give you stuff for them. Try rubbing the tips of her toes as this is a pressure point for constipation.

hi kylie, i had a very similar problem when ruby was about 8weeks....i changed her milk to hipp organic and i found it sooo much better, she was on sma and once she was drinking more it became too much for her tummy to handle. i swear by organic now xx

my health visitor says she cant be constipated because her nappies arent dry and hard they are runny......just dont know what to do with her she dot stop farting in pain......

hi, i had the same problem with my little boy when he was on cow and gate i changed his milk to sma and it stoped with in days. just try channging her milk untill you find one shes happy with.

Hi My little grl is 6weeks old this week and she has colic my h/v arranged for someone to come and show me baby massage for her tummy and all over and it seems to work. I give her gow and gate for hungrier babies stage 2. she loves it.I also try and express when i can. Ask your health h/v for advice on massage. Let me no if you think it works for your little one. Hi Kylie, I found that when I bottle fed my two while they were sitting in an upright position they tended to gulp less air then they would when lying across your arms. I also used the chicco bottles which were weird shaped so to prevent baby gulping air, plus I tried hard as I could to prevent them screaming for a long time for their bottle which I understand can also cause them to gulp a lot of air before a feed. hi i had the same problem with my baby boy also 5 weeks i was recomended colief by a family member it costs about & 10 but well worth it u could also ask ur doc 4 it on perscription its well worth tryin if it will help thanks terri x
