hi there, my little one loves her bath, which is great. Problem being is that she gts so excited that we battle to get her to settle for at least 3 hours. Any suggestions???

Yeah i have tried that. I normally bath her and then feed her...but she still does not settle. A friend has suggested changing her bath time to the morning??? should i do this or is this just a phase? x

hi jackie...have you tried giving he a baby massage...johnsons bedtime lotion works wonders for little ruby, it calms her down she drinks her bottle then goesn straight to bed x

Hi i am having problems getting my little girl to like having a bath,how did you do it?.Iv tried all diffrent times of the day. i have just started getting her into or trying to get her in to a routine.She is 6weeks old. I am giving her a bath at 6.30 and she screams the whole time she is in there.She has a bottle after that calms her. What else can i try?. love jodie and mia.xxx

Hi there Are you sure the water is the correct temperature? Sometimes paranoia has set in and we have made it a bit too tepid and our little one didn't like it and immediately shivered when we took her out. Another trick we've found is that my husband moves her through the water to keep her occupied, rather than sitting her in it and washing her.

My daughter has only just started enjoying her bath time at 4 months. We tried everything, temperture of water, bottle before, bath sponge support, me being in the bath with her and she hated it all until I bought the blow up chair thingy that you can use in the swimming pool and I put her in her swimming costume too and she didn't even flinch when I put her in the water because she had something else to look at. That was 3 weeks ago. Now she's big enough to play with toys and chew her hand she enjoys it now just being held in a sitting position. I think sometimes that dont feel secure enough when they're small. She enjoys have her feet on something, like the side of the bath, rather than just slipping on the bath floor. It all sounds like a bit of a hassle but if she's happy, I'm happy. Rebecca and Ciara x
