Hi all, thought Id post to let people know the method I have used to virtually eradicate my little boys eczema. I tried aqueous cream to no avail and it wasnt until I tried a combination of creams without any additives that I had any success. I use Boots Method baby for daytime both shower gel and cream and at night I use Little me organic dill and lavender cream and bath cream (this has the added bonus of helping him sleep a little easier)and so far (touch wood) we seem to have completely eradicated his itching and scratching so theres no more open sore scratch marks either. He also has no more dry spots of skin. We also put him to bed in pyjama bottoms and summer sleeping bag only to stop him getting too hot. This might not work for every child and its not a particularly cheap way of doing it (both creams cost about 5 pound a bottle) but if it helps one or two of you out there then that would be lovely. my daughter was prescribed double base cream from the doctors. after a week my daughters excema was gone, and hasn't come back since. i only use water in her bath and use tesco's own sensitive baby wash and it all seem to be under control

hey, i was precribed that double base cream and oilatum to put in my sons bath and it worked a treat i still use the oilatum now in his bath just to keep the eczema away becci and 6 month old joshua x

My little girl was prescribed doublebase cream from the gp and it's worked a treat, you can apply it up to 6 times a day but after a week of using, I only need to apply it once to keep the eczema away. Hayley, Mia 17 months and 15 week old Millie
